Mental Health and Racism

Updated: Dec 19, 2021

"It is a privilege to learn about racism instead of experiencing it your whole life."

~ Ahmed Ali

"It's up to all of us - Black, white, everyone - no matter how well-meaning we think we might be, to do the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out. It starts with self-examination and listening to those whose lives are different from our own."

~ Michelle Obama

Within the field of mental health, issues such as access, education and funding are in need of urgent attention. Below are some links to resources and information in this regard. It is by no means an exhaustive list, but it may provide a starting point for those seeking further information, or anyone wanting to contribute in some way.
