I reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spaces for students and individuals with financial constraints. If you require a reduced rate, let me know during our initial consultation (space is not guaranteed).
FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION
I offer an introductory 20-minute phone consultation prior to starting therapy. This gives us a chance to discuss your situation, find out if my approach is a good fit for you, and address any questions or concerns you might have.
Private psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP, but coverage may be provided by other insurance plans. If you do have coverage, let me know and I'll provide you with everything you need to make a claim.
MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION
Whether or not you're in therapy, mindfulness practice can be an effective way to improve your coping skills and sense of wellbeing. I lead a series of training groups in mindfulness and meditation for anyone interested in improving their ongoing self care.
* Please note: anyone with a history of trauma may find certain mindfulness approaches triggering, and can benefit more from starting under the specific guidance of a professional therapist.
This is the main focus of my practice and consists of hour long, one-on-one sessions. These are usually scheduled either once a week or every other week, often tapering off to monthly before completion. We will work together to address your needs and cultivate a personalized approach that moves at a pace that is right for you.
